So what is Wedding Handbook?

It was 2013, and after a number of comments from couples saying how they didn't know what to do once they were engaged I started looking at what practical impartial advice was actually available on the market.  I bought a handful of 'wedding planners' from high street stores and online.  It was then I realised that these planners weren’t very thorough.  Sure, they looked pretty, but they didn’t include practical advice of what you needed to know or do.  And what shocked me even more is that there were no same-sex planners available at all! (*that I could find)

I had found a gap in the market and sufficient demand from the 18 months of market research that I decided to invest both time and money into making my vision a reality.

And so, July 2015 Wedding Handbook was born.

Wedding Handbook is the Ultimate Planner, a convenient and comprehensive guide for anyone getting married, helping them to save time, money and effort planning their wedding.

Originally Wedding Handbook was a physical printed 160 page step by step wedding planner to help you organise and guide you through your engagement, covering everything from the engagement celebrations, the Stag & Hen do’s, guest lists, budget and so much more!  It came with a supplier directory, branded pen, sticky tabs and a USB memory stick complimenting the planner with spreadsheets and tips!  

Full retail price was £47.99

However, I was young and naive and didn't really understand how to sell a 'product'.  It turned out that the cost of printing along with all the elements skyrocketed.  I didn't want to jeopardise the quality of the product, and it therefore no longer became a profitable business, so in 2019, I bowed out after selling over 5000 copies to focus on my Celebrant business.

Now, with the increased popularity at the minute of planner and digital products, I recently wondered why i've not turned this into a digital download!  Well guess what! Now I have!   Who knows a printed version may be available again one day too!
